Join the Wake Network

Wake Network ComputerThe Wake Network allows registered alumni, parents, and friends to maintain a closer relationship with Wake Forest. Use the Wake Network to get connected and stay connected: Find other WFU alumni, parents, and friends with the searchable directory, stay up-to-date on the latest alumni events and Wake Forest news, and find out what you need to do to become a Loyal DEAC!

 

 


How do I get started?

Stay in touch by setting up your Wake Network and Alumni Gmail accounts by following the steps below:

  1. Visit wakenetwork.wfu.edu.
  2. Click on New User? Register now button.
  3. Complete the registration form (note: Enter a personal email address, not your student email address, for your preferred email).
  4. Select Yes for Create Gmail Account.
  5. Select a User ID for your Wake Network account. This will become the prefix to your new Alumni Gmail account: [UserID]@alumni.wfu.edu. Many users select “FirstName.LastName” as their User ID.
  6. Click the Register button.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email from the Alumni Engagement Office once your account has been created (approximately two business days). Your Gmail password will be the same as your WakeNetwork password.

 

If you chose to not have a WFU Alumni Gmail account created for you when you applied for a Wake Network account but have now changed your mind, you can activate your WFU Alumni Gmail account in Wake Network by following these steps:

  1. Visit wakenetwork.wfu.edu.
  2. Login with your Wake Network credentials.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Click on Manage WFU Gmail Account.
  5. Switch Enabled? to Yes.
  6. Please allow approximately 15 minutes for your WFU Alumni Gmail account to become active.

 


How do I update my information?

Moved? New email address? Update your alumni record one of three ways:

  1. Log into Wake Network to update your information or change your preferences.
  2. Fill out our secure Alumni Information Update Form.
  3. Call the Office of Alumni Records at (336) 758-4347 between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST to update your information or to alert our office to any issue with your personal data.
